Posting an Exercise I did for Computer Art.
The exercise was to make an homage to Pop Art. I sorta did that with a bit of Superflat/manga influence. In Lichtenstein's vein I used a panel from another comic as inspiration. The panel is from Naruto with line from the character Deidara. That line came instantly to my mind when I got the assignment. The assignment was also meant to be a self-portrait, so I'm taking Deidara's place here. In the end, altering it much more than Lichtenstein would have, but that makes me feel a bit better since I'd rather draw original images. Here it seemed fitting to do.
If the teacher likes this, it may appear in an online gallery in Second Life. More on that another time.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
